Tragic Training Accident Makes me Thankful for ICEdot
I found out last night that friend of ours was hit by a semi while out training for Kona! Her boyfriend is a good friend of mine and it is very tragic!
As of now we are not sure of the extent of her injuries, but she has suffered severe brain swelling and already had surgery to try to relieve some of the swelling if possible!
She has several broken bones and other injuries, but the focus right now is on her brain and we are praying for her to recover!
Please be safe out there and remember that the cars/trucks are in a hurry do be on the look out! Your ICEdot may not protect you from car accidents but the reality is that they happen. Your ICEdot can however, identify you and help first responders contact your emergency contacts a lot faster.
The ICEdot Crash Sensor attaches to a helmet and notifies emergency contacts of a crash and your location. Be the first to own one. Sign up for our Crash Sensor newsletter and we'll email you when it's ready to purchase.
