I had the honor of representing Michigan in Age Group Nationals on August 18th in Burlington Vermont:) I did the Olympic Distance and had an amazing time! USAT did an awesome job with the races.

The swim was very wavy and windy. The wind really started to kick up as I was waiting the hour and half for my heat to go off. I even saw whilte caps:) The bike was great, a hard course but not horrible and the run started off with a huge hill but then was flat. I was most happy with my run split and my overall time was right where I wanted to be.

This was a great event and USAT made everyone feel like a rockstar!

Awesome Becky! I’m going to try to do this event next year. My parents went this year, this is their second year (or 3rd or 4th…I forget). They also reported that the swim was very wavy!
