How Do You Find Greatness?

Greatness is the ability to train your mind to never give into emotions and to never give in to excuses. To never give up, no matter what the circumstances. Greatness comes from the fire lit from within. To say “I will,” instead of “I will try.” Not to ask “Why?” but “Why not?”

Greatness is finding time to exercise after you have been at the job site for 12+ hours, even if it is past midnight. Having enough discipline to not skip a workout or reps. Greatness is never surrendering when times get tough. Pushing through exhaustion and fighting through every stride until the finish line is crossed.

Greatness is overcoming adversity. To conquer what you previously thought was too much. To have the heart to not stop during a race, even if your muscles are screaming for mercy. Greatness is the ability to breakthrough all mental barriers and defy the impossible.

You pave your own future, and only you can control what happens. Anything less than your best is unacceptable. Train as if today is the last time you ever put on a pair of running shoes. Greatness is not something you receive. Greatness is blood, sweat and tears of joy. Knowing you left it all on the course.
